Tommy Wails

Tommy Wails is a respected guitarist, songwriter and performer based in Woodstock, Georgia, whose musicianship has earned him a reputation as a local legend. With a career spanning multiple genres, Tommy brings authenticity, passion, and exceptional style and stage presence to every stage he steps on. As both a gifted guitarist and accomplished songwriter, Tommy’s musical range is remarkably diverse, encompassing rock, blues, punk, Americana, Christian rock and country. His ability to move seamlessly between styles has made him a sought after collaborator and an enduring presence in the North Georgia music scene. Tommy currently performs with Heaven’s project R.A.D (Relics, Aliens, Dinosaurs), progressive rock band Sonic Joyride, as well as with his band, Hutch and Wails. He contributes his signature guitar work, songwriting, and dynamic live performances to each project. Whether delivering blistering rock solos, soulful blues, heartfelt Americana, or high energy punk, Tommy’s playing reflects decades of dedication to his craft and a genuine love for making music.
