Cedric Evens, Jr.

Born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan, to a musically rich family, Cedric Evens Jr. has embarked on a grand musical journey that is anything but ordinary. Nurtured in  various environments, Cedric began using his God-given gift of music on the drum set beginning at the age of 1; beginning with helping his family in ministry to delving into viral drum videos, competitions and performances with high school bands and university choirs. Since moving to Georgia in 2024, Evens has experienced  a major acceleration in his music pathway, attending & participating in Georgia State University’s jazz programs, and connecting to various genres of artists, dedicating himself to musical growth. Now as the drummer of Heaven Davis’ R.A.D. (Relics, Aliens, Dinosaurs), the young talent will be able to expressively articulate the areas he’s grown as a complete musician.
